The final ceremony of Seerat-un-Nabi (peace be upon him) competition was held

The final ceremony of Seerat-un-Nabi (peace be upon him) competition was held in Molana Jami Conference Hall in presence of Prof, Abdul Aziz Nomani Chancellor of Herat University, Mulavi Menatullah Akhondzadeh, special representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Herat University deputy of Finance and Administrative, Mirvais Rahimi, the manager of male dormitory, Mohammad Naser Mostaner head of the Relations and Public Awareness, members of cultural committee and Amr-bel-maroof (enjoining to good) and a large number of students of male dormitory.
The ceremony started with recitation of some verses from Holly Quran, then Prof, Abdul Aziz Nomani, Chancellor of Herat University appreciated the holders of this program and talked about the special character of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) and mentioned some of prophet’s behaviors, the chancellor also encouraged students to follow the prophet’s (peace be upon him) behavior.
Then, Mulavi Menatullah Akhondzadeh special representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Herat University deputy of Finance and Administrative talked about paying attention and model taking of prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) in students’ daily life and to be more familiar to the life of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him); he emphasized on creating relations between the universities and religious schools and holding such programs jointly, he also encouraged students to follow the Seerat-un-Nabi (peace be upon him) to become good examples and elites of the society.
Next, Qari Abdul Wahid Mohammadi member of dormitory’s cultural committee talked about the goals of this competition and also talked about the role of students in promoting of the science and culture in the society.
In continue, Mohammad Evaz Danial member of the cultural committee of male dormitory welcomed the guests, announced the results of the competition and distributed the appreciating letters to those who got the highest ranking, with cooperation of the guest.
This competition was an initiative of the cultural committee and Amr-bel-maroof (enjoining to good) of male dormitory of Herat University in cooperation with dormitory manager held on 23rd of Mizan (Oct 15th) and a great number of students attended in the competition.
The ceremony ended up with a pray.
