Transcendence and progress in a community relate to academic institutions that emerged with knowledge-based competing strategies and goals. And, by training and producing specialized and committed human resources for all sectors of the country, they not only provide for the internal human resources inside the country but also participate in regional market competition and influence regional economic policies. Herat University, therefore, recognizes the goals of national and regional macro and regional policies as a prestigious academic institution in the west of the country, is committed to training and producing specialized and committed staff based on labour market needs and striving to keep pace with other regional institutions and having its own share in regional and academic policy making processes.  Moreover, this goal will only be achieved through the creation of a quality public and private higher education system through the academic-scientific collaboration platform to prove itself as a top university.
