Opening of Herat University Students' Union

Today Herat University Students' Union was opened with the participation of Dr. Abdullah Faiz, Chancellor of Herat University, university vice chancellors, professors, and students at the Molana Jami Conference Hall.The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran verses, followed by a congratulatory message by Dr. Abdullah Faiz, Chancellor of Herat University. He appreciated the council of elite Students for creating and taking practical steps in building unity, empathy, and growth among students.

Chancellor of Herat University added that creating this union paves the path for solidarity, unity, students' plans fulfillment, and elimination of racial prejudices as well.

Subsequently, Dr. Mohammad Davood Munir, Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs of Herat University, called the establishment of students' union a necessary initiation with that students will be able to contribute to different aspects of the university by presenting their projects and proposals.

Recently, Mohammad Ewaz Daniyal, the student union leader, described the constitution, membership process, goals of the union, and future plans for the participants.
