Meeting of Herat University chancellor with Herat Abdul Qayoom Rahimi the governor of Herat province

Herat Governor Abdul Qayoom Rahimi emphasized the need to restore Herat's scientific and cultural status at the national, regional and global levels during a meeting with the University leadership.         Mr. Rahimi promised to make every effort to fund cultural projects. Herat's governor asked the university leadership to work together with various campuses to develop plans for improving Herat's agriculture, construction and historic sites. The university's leadership also expressed support for Herat's province by presenting their cultural plans.
