The Academic Council Meeting of Herat University Held

The Academic Council meeting of Herat University was held today with the presence of Sheikh-ul-Quran wal-Hadith, Mawlana Abdul Ghani Haqqani (May Allah protect him), the President of Herat University, along with vice presidents, faculty deans, and other members.
The meeting began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a welcoming speech by Sheikh-ul-Quran wal-Hadith, Mawlana Abdul Ghani Haqqani. He emphasized that knowledge and research are the foundations of progress and development for any society. He stated, "We must strive to turn the environment of Herat University into a place for nurturing the future generation of specialists, which requires the cooperation of all university members."
At the end of the meeting, the members reviewed the files of faculty appointments, dismissals, and academic promotions. They also discussed and exchanged views on signing memorandums of understanding between the Faculty of Dentistry at Herat University and the Faculties of Dentistry at the private Ghalib University and Hariwa Private Higher Education Institute.
