Herat's Representatives in parliament visit Herat University
A group of Herat's representatives in parliament today met with the leadership, deans and heads of Herat University departments to discuss the problems and challenges facing Herat University.
Dr. Abdullah Faiz, Chancellor of Herat University Welcoming the guests, said: "Although Herat University is the second largest university in Afghanistan, there is a need to take practical steps to address the difficulties and challenges ahead till Herat continues to provide quality educational services”.
University leadership, deans and heads of departments, counted that the lack of Mosque (Masjed Sharif) in the university and overall failure to complete the Herat University complex, construction of a cadre hospital for medical university despite lack of land, maps and facilities, lack of staff and the challenges associated with starting a master's degree program in law, Theology and agriculture are among the major problems and challenges of Herat University
Then the representatives in parliament spoke about solving the problems of Herat University and promised to cooperate with Herat University.
