The Herat University Directorate signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation with the Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock of Herat.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Al-Haj Mawlawi Noorulhaq Azhar from the office of the Herat University Directorate.

Later, Sheikh Al-Quran and Hadith, Mawlana Abdul Ghani Haqqani (may Allah protect him), the Chancellor of Herat University, emphasized the importance of signing MoUs for cooperation between Emirate institutions. He stated that this memorandum aims to expand scientific, research, and educational cooperation between the two entities and strengthen scientific relations to achieve common goals.

Al-Haj Akhundzada Mullah Abdul Hai "Munir," the Director of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock of Herat, expressed his happiness over signing the cooperation MoU. He described it as a step toward improving the agricultural and livestock sectors in Herat and utilizing specialized knowledge and expertise to address agricultural challenges in the province.
