The Faculty of Veterinary Science is committed to the development of the health and comfort of animals and humans through higher education, research, professional work and the provision of services to the Herat community and the country.

Vision

   Improvement of the educational level qualitatively and quantitatively in accordance with international standards, taking into account the needs of the community for the development of health, production, comfort of animals, public health and the development of veterinary services to the Herat and the country with a slogan "Animal welfare, National wealth". Promote the culture of unit health and create a coherent research field in the field of animal and human medicine.

3.      Providing facilities for the advancement of research and development in the field of veterinary science and livestock

4.      The training, development and promotion of such specialized sciences and technology transfer to farmers in need of cooperation with the Herat Department of Agriculture and neighboring provinces.
