The Professional Development Directorate of Herat University initiated a four-day advanced leadership training workshop for university management, aimed at enhancing administrative skills and empowering the academic staff.

During this workshop, professors will be introduced to advanced management concepts, modern leadership methods, and strategies for improving performance in academic environments.
The workshop was inaugurated in the presence of Sheikh Al-Quran and Al-Hadith Maulana Abdul Ghani Haqqani (may Allah protect him), the President of Herat University; Qari Mohammad Bashir Mujahid, Vice President for Finance and Administration; Dr. Rahim Bakhsh Faqiryar, Director of Faculty Affairs; Dr. Shoaib Ahmad Shaikhis, Director of Professional Development for Faculty Members; and the workshop participants.
The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Following this, Sheikh Al-Quran and Al-Hadith Maulana Abdul Ghani Haqqani (may Allah protect him), the President of Herat University, expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Professional Development Directorate for organizing the workshop. He emphasized the importance of such educational programs, stating that holding workshops on advanced leadership plays a significant role in enhancing the managerial, academic, and practical abilities of faculty members, which can pave the way for the progress of the university and the country's academic community.
The President of Herat University stressed that developing leadership skills among the academic staff not only contributes to improving the quality of education but also plays a key role in strengthening resource management and university activties.
Subsequently, the workshop officially commenced as per the planned schedule.
