1. Biology Department

          Biology Department is one the key departments which includes eight lecturer with different degrees and genders. This department has 8 classes in two shifts which include  313 students (208 female and 105 male).

          Biology Department was found in 1350 under the name of Chemistry and Biology. However, in 1389 it was divided into two separate departments, chemistry and biology.

3.1.1 Objectives:

  1. Creating a specific program developed to raise awareness among department members and students’ satisfaction of the ongoing activities and department development by department staff
  2. Conducting educational seminars for school teachers and biology department students due to the nature and modern teaching methods of biology
  3. Developing mechanisms to capacity building, training of professional teachers and specialists in the field of biology
  4. Training teachers based on Islamic spirit,patriotism and social norms
  5. Improving the quality of learning, using information technology and means of learning aids in the teaching process
  6. Improving the scientific the professional knowledge and skills of the academic members through fellowship applications
  7. Linking private and public institutions to create employment situation to the department graduates
  8. Making proper planning to the graduates to accede to higher education
  9. Getting familiar to new technology
  10. Conducting training seminars for faculty members to familiarize them with the latest teaching methods and evaluation methods

3.1.3 Areas of Work

          Biology is a key subject at schools. So, the graduates of bilogy department can teach different professional subjects such as psycholoy, education, teaching methods at schools. Besides, they can work at laboratories and industrial factories.

  1. Chemistry Department

          Chemistry Department is one of the key departments of Education Faculty which includes 8 teachers with different academic ranks and genders. This department is active in both daily and nightly sections which totally comprises 353 students (195 female and 158 male).

So, the graduates of this department are the professional teachers in the frame of department of education in the society. Besides, they can work in practical areas like Labs, Factories etc.

Math Department

Math Department is one of the base  departments of Education Faculty which established sicene the teacher training Center . This Department includes 3  teachers with different academic ranks and genders. This department is active in both daily and nightly sections which totally comprises 251  students (130  female and 121  male).

Objective

  1. Developing mechanisms to capacity building, training of professional teachers and specialists in the field of Math
  2. Exchanging Academic relation between Science Faculty and other Education Environments  in other Universities of Afghanistan .

Physic  Departments is one of the key and Professional departments of Education Faculty which established as one of  the first Departments  sicne foundation of Teacher Training Center , at the first time of foundation the Math and Physic Departments were working together but in 2013 this Departments started activation  includes  8 teachers with different academic subjects like Engineering , Computer Science and Physic with different ranks and genders.
