Department of Sanitation and Food Technology

This department was created in 2014 under the Science Department Frontier and is responsible for the teaching of food technology, food analysis, food hygiene, environmental medicine, and meat law.

Educational goals of this department:

1.      Familiarity of students with methods of food decomposition and determination of the amount of different materials in them

2.      Empower students to detect fraud in various foods.

3.      Familiarity with methods of identifying healthy foods from unhealthy foods with animal origin

4.      Prepare students for the purpose of checking and inspecting food of animal origin

5.      Identify various methods of procurement, processing, storage, marketing and prices of various animal feed products.

6.      Introduction of new methods of food technology, their modification and development

7.      Understanding the position ofveterinary vocation in society

8.      Teaching national and international law

9.      Familiarity with the rights and duties of veterans

Note: All Departments are complementary at the Faculty of Veterinary Science and are tasked with teaching the specified themes.
