Unveiling of the book "The Biography and Works of Fuad Sezgin" at Herat University

The Research and Scientific Journal Directorate of Herat University, in collaboration with the TIKA office in Herat, unveiled the book "Biography and Works of Fuat Sezgin", a contemporary scholar and researcher of the Islamic world. This ceremony was held in the Amir Ali Shir Nawai Conference Hall, attended by Professor Dr. Azizur Rahman Niazi, Vice-Chancellor for Research and Scientific Journals of Herat University; Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mawlana Abdul Hadi Zulahadi, Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs; Dr. Sinan Elihan, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey; Dr. Arafat Deniz, Head of the TIKA office; deans of faculties, professors, and staff members.
During the event, Mawlana Abdul Hadi Zulahadi spoke about the importance of research from an Islamic perspective and the status of writers and scholars. Dr. Arafat Deniz expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the TIKA office and Herat University, emphasizing that the office is always ready to collaborate with the university.
Subsequently, Assistant Professor Sayed Moeen Hosseini, a lecturer at Herat University, discussed the achievements of researchers in the Islamic world. Professor Dr. Fazl Rahman Feqhi introduced the biography and works of Fuat Sezgin and elaborated on the details of the book. Dr. Abdul Mateen Ahmadzai also delivered a speech on the importance of research in the contemporary era.
In conclusion, Dr. Sinan Elihan, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey, summarized the ceremony, and the book was officially unveiled in the presence of the attendees.
