Participation of Sheikh-ul-Quran and Hadith, Maulana Abdul Ghani Haqqani (Hafizahullah), in the Graduation Ceremony of Islamiya Madrasa Herat

Sheikh-ul-Quran and Hadith, Maulana Abdul Ghani Haqqani (Hafizahullah), the President of Herat University, participated in the graduation ceremony of Islamiya Madrasa in Herat province. The ceremony was also attended by Sheikh-ul-Hadith Maulana Noor Ahmad Islam Jar, the Governor of Herat. Maulana Haqqani delivered a speech on the importance of knowledge, the role of scholars, and the significance of graduates from religious seminaries in the Islamic society.
In his speech, he highlighted the value of knowledge in Islam and praised the efforts of scholars in nurturing faithful and committed generations. He commended the teachers of religious schools and attributed the success of the Mujahideen and the end of the country’s occupation to the endeavors of scholars, graduates, and the entire nation, who paved the way for prosperity and independence with their faith, sincerity, and piety.
The President of Herat University advised the graduates to strive for greater achievements by embodying sincerity and piety in all aspects of their lives. Maulana Haqqani emphasized the importance of academic research and authorship, stating, "Every graduate should set specific goals for themselves and work towards achieving them with strong determination, avoiding arrogance and pride."
The ceremony, attended by a large gathering of scholars, teachers, graduates, and their families, included the placing of turbans of honor on the graduates and prayers for their success and progress.
