Introduction

Punishment law department by approving of ministry of higher education recently was created in 1393 in law and political science faculty. Crimes and committing are anarchies phenomenon and interrupting any society. In order to prevent crimes and implementing of criminal law, the judicial power has determined some rules. Punishment Law Department intends to introduce the crimes and punishments in national and international degree for students and students by acquisition of these skills would be able to work in court, defense attorney and other section as well. Presently, this department has five lecturers.

Academic goals:

  • Taking active part in the process of legal science via cooperation in bringing academic staffs up in Afghanistan
  • Improving lecturers level of education by having them in long & short term in master & Ph.D. programs
  • Improving credit system in order to facilitate learning for teachers, students and their vocational trainings
  • Standardizing curriculum sub-subjects based on the needs of Afghan Society
  • Holding academic workshops& seminars in private law
  • Efforts for conducting investigating projects by teachers and students to recognize the social challenges and suggesting the solutions for them
  • Cooperation in implementing law enforcement and giving advices to authorized organizations
