Introduction

This department as the first department of law faculty has been created in 1381. This department mostly deals with individual crimes and society with government, legal issues of the country and distinguishing forces from each other. In the meantime, public law is one the most basic legal fields of the country. This department besides covering most of judicial subjects, some Administration Diplomacy subjects are under the covering of it. Currently, public law department has nine academic staffs.

Academic goals:

  • Providing legal knowledge via academic staffs in justice & judicial fields to Afghan Society
  • Increasing the teaching quality according to international standards by revising curriculum
  • Creating academic environment for students to exchange, debate and conveying their knowledge to each other
  • Holding academic seminars and workshops for writing academic and researching articles
  • Keeping away the students from any political, religious and ethnic controversial issues & creating a friendship environment among them
  • Promoting law enforcement and its meaning by holding academic seminars
  • Empowering of students with academic, justice and judicial skills in Afghanistan via vocational training, practical and clinical
  • Promoting the culture of reading via researched issues and conducting extensive legal investigations
